The planet of Orth was created by the Gods known as The Five as a place to test their powers and later to provide them with worshippers and, apparently, entertainment. It exists in the plane of Materium, and is connected by various means to the four Prime Elemental Planes of Ji, Neró, Ignis and Zephyr. It is also linked to Pandaemonium via a singular portal, and was briefly connected to Radiance through unknown means.

Orth exists at a point in the multiverse which is a convergence point for The Weave, a deliberate decision by the Supreme God Jak'ra as it allows the races of Orth to have access to the flow of mana without their development being directly affected by it.

Current Location
The Lady of the Waves rarely stays in one place. However, she usually resides in the Seelie Court when not travelling the mortal realm.

General Description
The Lady of the Waves, or to give her true celestial name Sionainne, is the only child of Leannan and the oceanic Elder Being Xyius, and was conceived because of a deal struck by Leannan to prevent Xyius from destroying Oerth with a flood at some point after the first death of Marduk - it is said by some that the pain Leannan endured during her birth was what caused the flood that destroyed Trollopolis. Her church emerged during the Golden Age of Trade during the early Second Age, and with assistance from her older half-brother Mimus she eventually killed her tyrannical father towards the end of the Second Age and took his place as ruler of the oceans, most famously appearing in person in the centre of The Imperial City of Gor’Raj’Ka in the form of a tornado to destroy the cathedral the city had built to him.

Forms
As the Lady of the Waves, Sionainne appears in the mortal realm as a life-size dolphin made of amber and covered in carved runes, an albino Meraguin woman with glowing crystal blue eyes, the shape of a woman formed in the clouds, a mirage of a crystal ship, a face formed in seafoam, a shoal of fish, or most alarmingly a screaming voice booming out of a thundercloud or tornado. Her true form is a voluptuous, translucent Fae-like being whose clothes and hair appear to be waterfalls with fins for ears and the dorsal fin and tail of a dolphin.

Domains
Sionainne is the goddess of the seas and oceans, steam, ice, lightning, the weather, weather-related natural disasters, the tides, ships, aquatic life in all forms, waterfowl, the protector of fishermen, sailors and all others whose livelihoods depend on the waters of Oerth, and patron goddess of the Meraguin and Sahauguin, as well as being highly revered amongst the Yeti. She is also the patron of The Code of the Sea, and woe betide anyone who breaks it and draws her ire.
