Kenny's Treasure

Completed
Side Quest

The PCs find a part of a map, maybe it leads to treasure?

Getting the Map

Meadheavan

As the party travels around Meadheavan they walk by a hooded person sitting next to a black dog asking for alms, if they give him some money he will give them the Kenny's map and thanks them for their kindness.

  • If they ignore him he is going to beat the dog screaming: "You are the worst money maker ever!". If they are going to fight the guy he'll remove his hood, revealing a necromancer's tatoo on his forehead.
  • If the dog's crying won't get them back Doh Tor will be seen running to help the poor dog and a fight will start. Doh Tor will win the fight wether the party intervene or not, claiming the treasure map as a reward.
  • If the party did'nt intervene Doh Tor will then wait at the Ace of Clubs and approach the party when they enter the inn looking for an adventure, he will offer them the map for 20gp.
  • If the party intervened Doh Tor will thank them and offer them the map for 20gp or a promise to give him half of the Gold Pieces they find.

In case the party fight the Cult Fanatic and don't get to meet Doh Tor in the process, he will roam around the west gate of town, before they leave he will offer them his healing services and say that they look like a strong party of individuals, he will point out that in order to be really strong they should be a united party and not strong individuals who walk around together.

*Insert some key phrase that Ido is saying to make Doh Tor memorable

Traveling to the graveyard

The path to the graveyard is simple, not too many places to get lost in, if they get lost add random encounter.

Climbing the cliff

The cliff wall is of 6A difficulty and can be climbed with DC 14 str (athletics) check, each successful check grants the ability to move on difficulty terrain around the cliff up or down.

Once someone reaches to the top of a cliff they may tie a rope to a nearby tree and throw it down for the other to climb easily (no check required).

A rope may support only one person at a time, and movement on the rope counts as difficult terrain.

If 2 people are using the rope it snaps and they both fall down.

The height of every cliff is 5m.
