Hippofilius

The Gifted
Player Character

Appearance

Hippofilius seems smaller and lighter on his feet compared to many of his kin. His upper body is lean and weathered from years living from the land, with shoulder-length brown hair tied loosely back across his shoulders. His horse-like lower body is lean, like a racing destrier, more slender than the warrior raiders of his home, with long coltish legs. His fur is a deep chestnut brown, lightening to pale white by his hooves.

Outside of battle, he almost seems to saunter, a gentle calmness that takes in all that is going on around him. In the wilds, he appears utterly at home, often gently touching plants or observing animals that cross their path. This surety seems to disappear in the bustle of the city, and his attempts to observe everything going on appears like nervous to someone who didn't know him better. In times of urgent need, however, his movements are more precise and economic, with bursts of speed as he darts in and out of conflict or shifting into the totemic forms of his druid magics. The truly observant will see faint changes to his eyes as he calls on animal totems for guidance, sometimes the gold of an eagle, other times the black pupils of a strong bear.
