The neighborhood is built around Pallida University, dedicated to the pursuit of learning (while perhaps making some profit as well).  There are about 120 students attending the University, half of which are learning the arcane arts.  Other students pursue studies in history, languages, mathematics, and philosophy.

Although there is the large central campus, there are many other buildings throughout the neighborhood that are owned by the University.

Places of Interest

Auriel Concert Hall hosts the finest musical performances in the city.

Ivorium Tower is the home of the Arcana Department, where students come eager to learn magical skills.

The Museum of Antiquities is part of the university, but not part of the main campus. It has a collection of artifacts from across Aleona, although there is a tendency of items to be sold as much as put on display. There are numerous rumors of vast rooms below the publicly accessible areas of the museum that contain unopened crates of treasures waiting to be cataloged, shelves of artifacts deemed uninteresting, and a few secret rooms holding items too important or dangerous to put on public display.
