Krystoff walks around town to get to know the place. Knowing he will soon need money, he meets with crafters to offer his services unsuccessfully.
He meets with the Sheriff, a Male dark haired elf called
Wilford Lavendil, and offers to help train some of his guards. Wilford refuses as they do their own training. But agreed to pass the word in case any of the guards wanted to learn on their own time and at their own expense.

Meanwhile, Damon Smoak, AKA "Jae" is setting up for lunchtime business at Cayden’s Keg. He sees a bird in the window who’s singing a song he recognizes as a secret message from the Twilight Talons. He follows the bird upstairs to his room and finds a ring of Fleet Step on the windowsill. He has trouble understanding the Bird’s message other than “The weaponsman is the answer”.

The bird vanishes, and Jae decides to go investigate the town to see if he can find out who this contact is. He disguises himself and walks around town.
He runs into Krystoff speaking to the Sheriff. And observes them to see if they could be whom the bird was speaking of.

They both finish their conversation and start making their way back to the Keg (awkwardly since they had already said goodbye) for lunch. Jae follows and gets back to work.
He serves everyone and notices a Shy looking short human girl in the corner holding a huge Backpack. And serves her. She seems uncomfortable.

There’s a loud Dwarf farmer who seems to be annoying everyone about talks of his lost prized Boar, which was to be served in a week’s time to celebrate the end of the Call for Heroes.

Krystoff stays at he bar for a while, drinking and eating and making Merry. But heads back to the Wizard’s Grace early since the next day was an important one, with the Call for Heroes happening and all.
When he arrives at the Inn, he notices quite a bit of excitement for him joining the call. It seems people don’t have much to do in town, and the Call for Heroes is a common form of entertainment every month.
