Three things strike you about Aella on first meeting her.
- First: she stands at every inch of her seven and a half feet and seems to almost accidentally dominate nearly every space she is in.
- Second: her armour is a hodge-podge of dull and damaged parts from across Thylea, except her perfectly polished bracers.
- Third: her face is weathered and worn as if it has seen a thousand storms and twice as many fights, highlighted by the eye-patch over her scarred right eye.
Tryntia stands slightly over 5ft tall with long, thick hair that is a slightly unusual colour for a Triton, being a dark purple. Her body is slight but that of a soldiers, toned with the occasional scar from years of training and battle. Though her face is young, her eyes have been battle-hardened, to protect herself from the tragedies of war.
Her light blue skin slightly shimmers in sunlight from her scales but is only really noticeable if you're looking for it. She proudly wears traditional clothing and armour of her race, mainly things they have fashioned from the seafloor, held together by rope from sunken ships. She wears a bronze circlet to signify her bonding with Yklezion, her bronze Dragon.

There's no mistaking the short, winged, birdlike figure of an Aarokocra; ruffled dark grey feathers mottled with patches and smears of copper adorn the wings, head, chest, and bare arms of what seems to be a bright eyed, adolescent birdfolk.
Clothed lightly with only leather and cloth straps on the chest and cloth trousers, the only possessions that are carried seem to be at the figure's sides - a thick book and a small satchel. Standing at just under 5 feet, his head darts as he nervously scans the environment, clearly out of place in this new land.
The most striking thing about Praxos, is the bow he carries everywhere he goes. It is made of black locust wood with a green silk bowstring and a horn and an auroch leather grip.
I am Praxos, the archer, legion's bane, the fate twisted, born under the dreamer, but wide awake to the hardships of a cruel world.
Eurytus stands just over 7 ft. tall, a lean man’s body standing proud from the shoulder of a chestnut workhorse.
He always appears kind and approachable with his hair tied back, his coat well-groomed and tail tightly braided, though his sheer size lets him cut an imposing figure. From his neck hangs a sprig of mistletoe, though closer inspection would show this to be finely carved jade, with a single berry of darkened lavender crystal.

Thylea is a small continent surrounded on all sides by an ocean called the Forgotten Sea. The natives of Thylea are Centaurs, cyclopes, gygans, nymphs, satyr's, and other fey races. Thousands of Human settlers arrived in Thylea five hundred years ago. There are numerous languages spoken and there is a specific clothing style.
The Laws of Thylea are extremely important.
- Sacred Oaths. Oaths are taken very seriously in Thylea. The punishments for violating an oath are severe
- Mortal Curses. Breaking oaths or violating the laws of Thylea may cause you to be afflicted by dreadful curses.
- Thylean natives. Centaurs, satyrs, nymphs, and other native races live and work alongside the settler races. The peace with their many tribes is precarious.

Thylea is named after the mother goddess who watches over the continent. She and her husband, Kentimane the Hundred Handed, bore many children. These ancient gods form a pantheon called “the Titans.” The two most powerful of their children are:
- Sydon, Lord of Storms. He is the ancient Titan who once ruled over Thylea, long before the arrival of mortals. He seeks to dominate the land once again—to be worshipped by all mortals. He controls all the waters of Thylea, including the weather, and sacrifices must be offered to him daily.
- Lutheria, Mistress of Death. She is the sister-wife of Sydon. She has dominion over the underworld, and she seeks to corrupt mortals and capture their souls for her own amusement. In spite of this, she is honored by frequent sacrifices and wine festivals throughout the land.
For many ages, Thylea was a wilderness of centaurs, satyrs, cyclopes, and other creatures who worshipped the Titans. Mortals who came to Thylea lived in small, defenseless tribes—until the arrival of The Order of the Dragonlords. The Dragonlords were an order of heroic, dragon-riding mortals who came to Thylea five centuries ago. They initiated the First War against the Titans and defeated their armies. Most of The Order of the Dragonlords and their dragons were killed during this conflict
When all seemed lost, the mortals of Thylea were saved by the sudden appearance of the Five Gods, who walked the land in mortal guise. They forced the Titans into a temporary truce, called the Oath of Peace.

The Oath of Peace has prevented open warfare with the Titans for five hundred years. But now, the truce is ending. The power of the Five Gods wanes, and the Titans prepare to wage war upon mortals once again.
The Oracle is a water nymph named Versi. She is Thylea's most famous prophet, and she has recently had a terrifying vision of the future. She has called for a band of mortal heroes to join together to confront the Titans.
There are three major kingdoms in Thylea.
The Kingdom of Mytros was the first kingdom founded by the Dragonlords. It is the largest city in all of Thylea and the center of commerce, religion, and politics. The ruler of Mytros is King Acastus, one of the last descendants of the Dragonlords.
The Kingdom of Estoria is an ancient stronghold that has resisted centuries of attacks by centaur's, cyclopes, manticores, and other dangers which thrive in the steppes. The ruler of Estoria is King @pythor, the God of Battle.
The Kingdom of Aresia has long been a rival to the
kingdom of Mytros. The two cities have been engaged
in dozens of wars over the last several hundred years,
which are collectively known as the Aresian campaigns.
The ruler of Aresia is Queen Helen.
You are one of the heroes who has been called by the
Oracle's prophecy to save the world from the tyranny
of the Titans. Whatever your personal background, be you a native or an outsider you
know that you are destined for greatness.
Satyrs have a well-earned reputation for their good spirits, gregarious personalities, and love of revels. Most satyrs are driven by simple desires, to see the world and to sample its every pleasure.
While their spontaneity and whimsy sometimes put them at odds with more stoic peoples, satyrs rarely let the moodiness of others hinder their own happiness.
Life is a blessing from the gods, after all, and the proper response to such a gift, as far as most satyrs are concerned, is to accept it with relish.
Born of the Wild
Satyrs have the lower body of a goat and the upper body of an elf. A pair of goat-like horns sprout from their foreheads. These horns can range from small spikes to huge horns worthy of a mountain goat. Satyrs’ solid horns connect to their heads at the base of their skulls, while their legs end in sturdy hooves. In addition to a full head of hair, satyrs grow fur on their arms, legs, and torsos. Short, soft hair grows down their neck and spine, along their shoulders, and on their forearms. Thick fur covers their bodies from the waist down, shorter at the waist and longer below the knees. Some satyrs grow less fur, and many choose to carefully shave the hair from their arms and body. They can have brown, black, blonde, red, grey, or white hair. Their skin color ranges from dark to pale
Most satyrs believe that the other peoples of Theros are woefully burdened with the plague of seriousness. Satyrs scoff at the efforts of polis-builders with their laws and right angles, and they poke fun at philosophers with their endless theories and interminable discourse. Satyrs feel that life is to be lived and experienced with all the senses. Satyrs see the world and everything in it as a book of delights, and they want to explore every page. The Art of the Revel
The humans of the poleis generally think of satyrs’ revels as raucous bacchanals, where anything and everything might happen. This picture isn’t wrong, but it’s incomplete: there’s more to a revel than debauchery. For satyrs, revelry is a way of life. It’s the delight in small things: the song of a bird, a warm breeze, the smell of a tasty pie, relaxing by a river in the sunshine. Life freely offers these gifts, and for a satyr, they are more valuable than gold or glory. To revel means to forget the constraints of time, to let go of the future and past, and to be wholly in the present moment. For satyrs, encountering life with all the senses honors the gods, and—most importantly—it feels really good. Driven by instinct and intuition, most satyrs prove unpredictable, following their sense of wonder wherever it leads. Satyrs are in tune with their emotions to a degree that can be disturbing to other races. They want to experience everything: happiness, sadness, love, rage, etc. The only thing they avoid is boredom. They love music, wine, and dancing. They also enjoy an interest in carnal pleasures, and they are not afraid to share a bed with any of the other intelligent races.
Satyrs love to listen to music. They will happily spend long stretches of time both playing and composing new music. They are known to travel great distances to hear new songs, instruments, and poetry.
Satyrs in Thylea
Satyrs don’t have the same strained relationship with the civilized races of Thylea that the centaurs do. Satyrs can be found in many towns and villages throughout Thylea, as well as the great city of Mytros. They are attracted to the abundance of experiences that civilization provides: the food, the wine, and most especially the music. The civilized races of Thylea are suspicious of satyrs, for there are many stories of satyrs seducing and corrupting both the old and the young alike.
Satyrs have names that they draw from legends and myths—and from the powers that rule over the Feywild.
Male Names: Adrastos, Aeolus, Brontes, Castor, Cephalus, Glaucus, Helios, Iacchus, Kreios, Lycus, Melanthios, Okeanos, and Proteus.
Female Names: Acantha, Astraea, Briseis, Clio, Erato, Harmonia, Ianthe, Jocasta, Melete, Phaedra, Phoebe, Selene, and Tethys.
Very Odd Indeed
Satyrs are known for their eccentricities. Some people spend too much time worrying over why satyrs behave as they do. But satyrs themselves simply are as they are, feeling no need to understand what drives them, much less explain it to others. T
"You see that cluster of stars to the South? That's the Warrior, which the people of Mytros call 'Pythor, the God of Conquest'. In this case, his conquests came in the bedroom rather than the battlefield. One night,he is said to have entertained five beautiful sisters, one after the other - and the all of them at once!
Tales of this legendary deed reached the ears of the green dragon Hexia, a former lover that Pythor had abandoned. Fuelled by her jealousy, Hexia captured the sisters, turne them to stone, and placed the statues on her island as a warning of what would happen to any of Pythor's future conquests.
Each of the stars is one of the sisters, a reminder of Hexia's jealousy. Even so, Pythor still seeks out new romantic conquests. Perhaps he seeks to add new stars to his constellation."
After rescuing the teenage Corinna from the horde of Goatlings, the party went into The Mossy Temple It was tough going, with Aella, The Whirlwind almost eaten by an acidic slime and Euryale sassing some Gygan Gargoyles but they finally made their way into Demetria's lair.
Rescuing the kidnapped teenagers and children (for the most part) and uncovering the foul rituals Demetria was performing they barged into her dining room where combat quickly ensued. The Heroes of Thylea were able to stop some of the young girls eating human flesh but one did and turned into a fearsome and twisted Manead.
Combat was brutal, with Rekken swooping in and grabbing the horn before much was said. Praxos grabbed the horn, gulped down an amount and was instantly knocked out. It seems the potent wine deemed showing the prophetic dreams as a priority. Selene was able to wake him quickly, however, and the fight ensued. Tryntia ran over the incapacitated Gygan, climbed on a chair, leapt on the table and finally struck Demetria. Demetria was, unfortunately, able to escape by filling the room with spores and entering the summoned vines. The Gygan put up a huge fight but was finally felled.
The party found:

- A spellbook wrapped in human skin (unidentified)
- A magical pot (unidentified)
- A ring with the sigil of Praxos's lost, family.
- A broken dragonlord shield
On their first day back the party encountered a bizarre sight.
A pair of enormous stone forearms reaching out of the ground next to the path that you are following. The statues are completely still, frozen in a gesture that appears to be grasping at the sky. Although the stonework appears to be finely carved, there are no other signs of civilization or any man-made structures anywhere in the vicinity.
Surprisingly, the second day was much much worse.
Dark clouds and thunder roll across the sky. You spot a flash of silver in the clouds. At first, you mistake it for lightning, but it slowly resolves into a magnificent silver dragon. A blue-cloaked figure sits astride the dragon as it circles overhead. The figure speaks:
"Give up your quest and prostrate yourselves before the power of Sydon.”
His voice abruptly changes to something far deeper and inhuman,
“You meddle with forces beyond your comprehension.”
The dragon vanishes into the clouds above, and lightning tears across the sky. The ground shakes as something thunders toward you. It's a bloodthirsty warband of charging centaurs!
