Native to the far north of Yekare, the Byori are a hardy people accustomed to cold winters, long marches, and harsh conditions. They are masters of horsemanship and one-handed saber dueling, utilizing a unique saber called the Miezi.
Some scholars speculate that the term "Byori" is an evolution of the word "Boyar," a title of nobility amongst the Byori people.
