EXTRADIMENSIONAL SPACE
We get served a Heroes feast in the Extradimensional space. Then we leave to carriages, in preparation for the Coronation.
KINGSTON
We get dressed up in formal wear, and then leave by carriage to the Royal grounds.
There is a massive crowd on the palace grounds, the Nobility sitting in the center and people packed along sides and walls.
The Royal family arrives, and after some cheers the crowd goes quiet. Stephen Wrightson and a team of clerics come out of the cathedral, and Queen Catherine gives a speech.
“My time, like the passing of the sun, is at an end.”
After the speech, Morys gets up and leads Catherine to her seat.
Stephen asks Morys to stand and approach. Stephen says that in an exact time, the sun will rise, and it if shines on Morys, then he is approved. If not, then another vote will be arranged.
The sun rises, is focused through the stained glass of the cathedral, and shines on Morys. Pelor approves.
Then the crown is brought forth. The royal crown is old, but beautiful and made of solid platinum. Stephen Wrightson crowns Morys, and Morys vows to serve the kingdom as King, the 9th king of Neperkah.
“Long live the King”
King Morys then Is presented, and he gives his speech. Morys speech is about equality, which excites the commoners and makes the Nobles nervous and upset. He acknowledges the tragedy of Everlife, and reveals that the walls were breached by a conspiracy of nobles and the High Priest of Everlife. He indicates that the Inquisitors of St. Cuthbert are investigating and will arrest those that are responsible for this horrifying action.
He proclaims that he will stay at his home and not live in the main palace grounds, leaving it to his mother. He prefers his Royal area. He also officially recognizes Thalanil as Crown Prince Niclas’ official consort.
He then proclaims that his brother Edmund and his nephew Antony’s bodies were found, and they are removed the line of succession should they allow a resurrection.
He then yields the floor to speeches from those in succession. Niclas declines, but Bale steps forward and gives a heartfelt speech.
Afterwards is a big party, a celebration of the new king. During the party Codex uses Bale to speak to Stephen Wrightson, asking him to speak about Epiphany “Piph” when he has a moment in the next few days. Stephen is willing to speak to Codex over the next few days.
We speak to Niclas, who is nervous over being the Crown prince, and the crowd of people in general. After a brief talk he ducks out. We leave as well.
We get some information about some far northern Teleportation Circles. One of which was in the former capital of Neperkah, located by an inland sea. There’s one that is far to the north, but we do not have the sigil sequence. Perhaps the Elves or Dwarves will have it. We do have the other two.
We speak to Jackson Dowey and tell him that his wife has been found, thanks to Collette. Jackson’s wife returned to Everlife, and she is still single. We tell him we will reunite them tomorrow.
We also message Michael and ask him if he wants a lift to Everlife, he accepts.
We then rest for the evening.
