Baurothians are very well adapted to the cold environment of Baurothia. Their skin ranges from a pale, peach colour to an alabaster shade that can be almost translucent. The majority of Eastern Baurothians, those who call Eastern Baurothia home, have blonde or near white hair. While Western Baurothians, those who live in Western Baurothia, have darker brown to near black hair. There are small populations in both with hair colour of the opposite type, and the hair of both areas is largely straight and humidity does nothing to it. The main defining characteristics of an Eastern Baurothian that allows you to tell an Eastern Baurothian from a Western Baurothian is their mono-lid, both have light eyes, but an Eastern Baurothian is largely defined in appearance by their mono-lid. These physical traits tend to be strictly seen in halflings, humans, half-elves, as well other half human races, though these traits are possible to be found in other races. While Eastern and Western Baurothians may have largely similar appearances, their cultures are vastly different.
The Continent of Baurothia is a snowy continent full of tundras and snow planes, with barely any of the continent missing snow. The Continent is split into two different nations, both wanting to be known as Baurothia.
Baurothia is a continent scarred by war, scarred by war between men but the war of gods still leaves an open wound. The continent is split in half, and partially isolated, the continent will always be remembered and its stories are known.
