Description
A tall, sturdy grass particularly abundant on the plateaus of the Tempest Hills.
Interactions
Because it is toxic to livestock, it has been cleared out of some areas.
Dangers
Most plentiful at the edges of plateaus; care must be taken not to slip while gathering.
Medicinal Uses
A low-grade emetic at best.
Culinary Uses
None.
Practical Uses
Requires little drying time and is well suited for rope, baskets, and similar crafts. Reasonably waterproof, making tarring unnecessary as well.
Other Uses
In the wild, rumored to attract an unusual number of cooperative crows to those who know how to listen to them.
A good stretch of flooded bogland. Perhaps particularly gnarly to navigate through and generally avoided as a result, but otherwise perfectly ordinary as far as anyone remembers. There are sometimes rumors of blighthounds guarding the resting places of unknown dead, but that isn't terribly rare around here, either...
