East of the Bridge Market district in the Tatun Ways, the high end merchants and shops give way to more itinerant stalls and smaller shops. The winding alleyways of this area provide an array of goods and services that cater to both locals and curious tourists alike in a maze of shops both under roofs and in more open air squares spanned by colorful tarps.  The area is so named The Night Market, because it's merchants observe an informal non-compete relationship with the higher end stores of the adjacent Bridge Market, and typically open for business at the end of the day, carrying on commerce into the small hours of the night.
