Lord Vashir Tenewrath "Mar’iya"

Balic Noble who found himself stranded in the desert
Player

Vashir

Tall and lean, and dressed in the finest Balic fashion. He wears his long black hair slicked back, and his close cropped beard is touched with flecks of gray. He is in his late 40’s, and has the intense look of a hunter about him. The pupils of his eyes are pure white, and he is missing the ring finger on his left hand. In light of the recent assault by the defiler priest in the service of Amun’Re, Vashir is horribly disfigured with burns along his chest, neck, and chin

His memories are slowly coming back to him:

Vashir Tenewrath was a powerful Psion in the City of Balic. His family are Praetors within the City, renown as much for their cruelty as for their wealth. Vashir was elected to serve as one of the Templars of the City, a task he was well suited to by the nature of his psionic prowess. However, one fateful day he found himself in front of the Thir-King. As he prostrated himself before the Godling, the Dragon King, without a word, adroitly severed the ring finger from Vashir’s left hand (on which he wore a family ring that served as a Focus for his psionic energies) with a surgical strike of a psionic Mind Blade. Before he could cry out in pain, the Thir-King assaulted Vashir’s mind with a psionic Mind Wipe attack so powerful that it actually burned the pigment from his pupils, entirely erasing the very essence of Vashir from his own brain. As he stumbled back from the savageness of the assault, the Thir-King opened a portal to the desert behind Vashir and, almost lazily, psychically pushed him through it to his certain death.
