This noble family of Nemethil descends from the union of an elf and an ancient golden dragon who walked the earth in the form of an eleven woman, healing the sick. Every few hundred years the dragon blood reveals itself and a sorcerer is born into the family. The Herxidors are followers of Bahamut, the Dragon King, which is unusual among elves but not unheard of.
