Shanara the Salamander

Raised in the highly secretive and respected order of royal sultans guards known as the Jannisary Order, Shanara fought and trained since an early age with other skilled swordsman from The Sarranid Desert. However, as Sultan Hakim Atis began to note her unbridled ambition and reckless talent, he sent her to the Emris Adventuring Guild personally as an emissary to the The Sarranid Desert. Beyond her strong sense of devotion to the Sarranid Sultanate, Shanara favored brute strength and fearlessness in battle. Through her time in The Sarranid Desert, she adopted the ancient beast technique of the salamander, a rare trait of desert barbarians. She takes great pride in this innate ability, and in all of her weapon manipulations she emphasizes and embodies the salamander, even carving a rudimentary salamander symbol into her Janissary armor. Within her time in the Emris Adventuring Guild, Shanara accompanied The Sunsations, and later joined their journey to the northern reaches of Osira. Devoted to the Holy Order of The Sun, Shanara offers prayers to the Sun God Malekith after all of her fights, accrediting the powerful deity for her success on the battlefield.
