Tullach Port is the largest town on the island.
Defending the town, there are a handful of professionals (knights, vassals, men-at-arms) and they would gather troops from their lands if needed. There are also probably about a dozen professional guards, and people mostly police their own communities, i.e., a clan leader will punish people within their own clan. Any time there's an attack or anything, the men of the town will band together with the professional soldiers to fight it

Aghavilla's Park
Click for description.
Affectionately known as Aggy's, this tiny park is a nice place for nature-lovers to relax. A town ordinance was put into effect a very long time ago that the tree in this park was not to be harmed, and that no one was to take berries or flowers from its branches. The gardens around it are carefully maintained, and there is almost always a guard nearby to make sure there aren't any hooligans up to no good. The picture shows what the tree looks like, but obviously the scenery around it doesn't fit.
Broochbelly Theater
Click for description.
Named after one of St. Brigid's miracles, this is where one can go to see plays and musicians. Most of the subject matter of the performances is religious in nature. External link: Medieval Theater!
The Docks
Click for description.
Ships and people come and go, many just stopping along their trade routes, others looking for a bit of adventure.
Green Oak Grange
Click for description.
This is the only place in town to stable a horse. It's expensive and not great quality; your horse will be fed and housed, but won't have much room to move around. You're better off going with Appleberry, which is outside the town proper.
The Market Lane
Click for description.
Most of the shops, stalls, and artisans can be found here. Many of the buildings in this area have Townhouses above them.
The Town Greene

Just south of Green Oak Grange is a nice flat expanse of grass. It's often used for festivals and events.
Garden of Simple Pleasures
Click for description.
This... this is not a garden at all. It looks more like a house.
A house full of beautiful women who are all named after flowers, and they all answer to the marvelous Madam Nightshade. Hmm. More information: The Garden of Simple Pleasures. Characters who live here can describe their rooms on the House (Tullach Port) page.

The Potched Waught
Click for description.
They say a watched pot never boils. Owned by Beverly Noyles, the Potched Waught is a warm and comfy tavern in Uppertown, not too far from the church. Whether this speaks to the saintly nature of its patrons, or whether it speaks to their need for confession after their nightly activities is anyone's guess.

The Temple of St. Raphael
Click for description.
This used to be literally a temple and place of worship, but ever since the church of St. Brigid was built, it's no longer used for that purpose. This is exclusively a hospital, where you can get help from healers of various types: those with magical talent, those who wield the power of the divine (especially that granted by Brigid or Raphael), those who work in mundane knowledge of the body, and those who use the strange cures and tricks of nature.
