Irdien was born to Arve and Raya Talvaeth, raised alongside her older brother Ertherin Talvaeth in the The Underdark, Faneadar city. Her early age held nothing but causing mischief with Ertherin, learning about the world below with her father and occasional help in the household with her mother. This all changed at the age of eleven, when her mother was seriously injured during a rockfall. Irdien was now the one taking care of the family, while her father and brother had to get more work.
Four years later, they started to take care of Danesca, Irdien's friend, who ran away from her abusive mother. With another family member to take care of and a fire accident happening in their dwelling, Ertherin and Irdien made up their mind and decided to get money in more efficient ways. Making a group formed by friends, they targeted rich drow families and other people in power to steal their wealth. Not every mission ended successfully.
Six years passed and Ertherin went missing. With no one knowing about his whereabouts, the Talvaeth family started to get the idea something happened. Irdien turned to gods, as she knew exploring the whole Underdark could take months, and made a deal with Veles. She said goodbye to Danesca only, knowing her parents wouldn't let her go, and made her way above to do her part.
She traveled to a town, where she was supposed to kill a man Veles put a target on. After doing so, she finally knew where to find her brother, and gained infinite toffee for the murder. With a heavy heart she found the Dombuton mansion too late, with her brother already gone.
