The personal bodyguard of Duke Erwen de'Valice, Sir Ug is an incredibly imposing figure, tall and muscular even for a Troll and extremely able at his job, though this is mainly due to using his sheer immense strength to compensate for his lack of wits or actual skill. Despite his fearsome appearance and notorious reputation as a brutish yes-man, he clearly has much more in the way of moral scruples than his boss but is still not averse to cheating to make the Duke look good. He is also known for using a giant tortoise as a steed, as it is the only thing available that was able to carry his gigantic frame, and for rarely taking off his helmet (almost never in public.)
