The Gulls is a district that historically focused on Elven visitors, which were not always welcomed into the city proper. The fact that the Elves got a district inside the city walls while the Grit is located outside of the city walls, never sat right with local dwarven clans.
Nobility Hill lays just outside of the Royal Castle. A luxurious district, filled with embassies, ballrooms, and apartments.
The Exchange is the beating heart of commerce, with many banks, trade offices, and administrative facilities.
Warrior's Ward is the first district entered when approaching Heaton from the direction of Heastead over the Capital Road. This district historically houses a lot of amenities for adventurers and mercenaries: inns, weapons- and armor stores and merchants hoping to make a quick profit on ill-gotten ancient relics.
Old Town houses the working class of the city.
The Palisades features spacious manors, private museums, and fancy stores.
The Craft District provides much-added value to the city's economy by refining the goods coming through the port.
The Docks cover the western side of the city. Given Heaton's function, this area is lively day and night. Sailors stock up and relax, merchants try to sell their wares for the best price, and caravans are loaded with goods for transport throughout Erenen.
The Grit is a Dwarven district. As dwarves started to work in the mines of the Orium Ridge, the people of Heaton soon discovered that dwarves tend to get... rowdy when off duty. A few clever entrepreneurs saw a golden opportunity and built dwarven-centric inns, taverns, and bars near the northern edge of town. And thus, the Grit came to be.
