Bruce Ifufu

Potion Merchant, Fashionista
NPC

Flamboyant, pretentious, annoying, yet somewhat charming in the “I want to strangle you” kind of way. Bruce’s sense of style and fashion vastly exceeded his politeness and eagerness to help others. Bruce often wears unique, eccentric, and abnormally wacky outfits and almost always draw the attention of others. Upon first meeting him, Bruce dawned a vibrant people coat with yellow coat trimmings. A small adornment of downfacing triangles interlaced the connection between the purple midsection and the yellow trimming that made for a flashy pattern. The reflection of the sun off of his chest resulted in a faint glittery shimmer that made Bruce all the more in the middle of attention. Beneath his gown, he wears a simple, but elegant brown leather vest, in conjecture with tightly fitted tan leggings. These two pieces are joined together by a blue waist belt. Bruce’s face is never exposed, but instead hiding behind a mask of gold a purple, with a thin purple plume (feather) rising out from the center. Giving of a faint peacock-esque vibe. Bruce also wears a strangle necklace, that is barely visible at the right angle.

Bruce Ifufu was a prominent potion/magical/hairstylist within the city of Alazel. As was first introduced to a single member of the party after Tess Greymane stumbled into his shop. Appalled by the man’s erratic and slightly unbecoming behaviors, Tess fled the shop in search of other localities. Yet, despite this poor introduction, the party went to Bruce to warn him following the attack on Alazel this resulted in Bruce joining the party for their escape of Alazel. Bruce’s combat abilities are subpar, failing to match any members of the party. Instead, Bruce provides passive support to his members via buffs, healings, and the contribution of potions during combat. Bruce is very hesitant to fight, completely uncomfortable with getting his blade, coat, or figure covered in grime or blood.

The party escaped with Bruce, after a tedious fight both above, and below, ground. There fights took them through the sewers in which Bruce often voiced his complaint in the manner. His disappointment peaking when he got blood on his sword.

Following their exit from the sewers, Bruce and Kree managed to get into a brief fight around the campfire. With Bruce’s pride disallowing insults to his person, he left, evading Tess as he walked away from the camp into an unknown direction.

A short while later, Bruce was located after being attacked by a Bugbear. Due to the quick thinking of the party, Bruce was quickly rescued and began traveling with the party once more. During their time in Trocphis, Bruce primarily provided the party with inspiration and healing.

In the pocket dimension dungeon, Tess Greymane ended up taking a hit for Bruce likely saving the man from a cold demise. Whether or not Bruce would've succumbed is a matter of great debate; however, most agree that Greymane prolonged Bruce's life with his altruistic action.

In a private conversation, Tess Greymane learned of Bruce's possible military service within the nation of Asalebeth. Through is training at the court of nobles, Tess ascertained that Bruce was a high ranking official, having received at the very least a "Purple Heart" for wounds sustained during combat. This discovering was made upon Bruce giving Tess a well maintained and immaculate white uniform.

In the Under city, Bruce attempted to provide calming effects to Lyra during her surgery as well as shouting at a warning towards Tazreal. Other than that, Bruce's lack of medical knowledge made him a poor assistant when attempting to help save Dracnour's life.
