Oceanyka, still sometimes known post-independence as Australia, is a confederation of tribes, villages, towns and city-states located in the continent of Oceania. It is an anarchic land filled with treasure, danger, cruelty and death. Outside of the palisades of villages, the stone walls of towns, the sniper towers of cities and the bunkers of colonial outposts anarchy reigns, and he with the biggest gun wins. Oceanyka autonomously developed two different civilisations which had been at war with each other for millennia before the arrival of foreign settlers; the Aboriginals and the Ferozen. In their last great war, they destroyed each other, leaving the continent ripe for British colonisation. This state of affairs lasted for almost a century, greatly enriching the Empire, but Oceanyka reached independence through bloody revolution in the late 19th century, as a confederation between all peoples within it. Originally aligned with the West, a left-wing revolution in the capital has brought it closer to the Moscow Pact, under the leadership of President Alan Redfort.

During World War I, the Oceanykan Council sent troops to fight the Central Powers, alongside Mardasia, united as one army-sized unit called ANZAC; Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. Oceanykan troopers were the backbone of the failed Gallipoli campaign, though they found a number of victories across the Middle East. Because of its partial victory against the Ottoman Empire, the ANZACs are celebrated across Oceanyka as having defeated a great power at a time when the country was just getting itself together.

The 82-BM-37 is the Soviet Union's standard medium mortar and has been so since before the Great Patriotic War. Like all other mortars of the era, it is a descendant of the French Brandt design. It does possess an extremely unique quirk; as it is an 82mm calibre weapon, it is capable of firing western 81mm shells with reduced accuracy, but the contrary is not possible. When German intelligence realised this, the nation began a program to manufacture more complicated ammunition which could not be fired from larger calibre barrels. The British MI-6 intervened, preventing a major industrial disaster, and produced a limited number of 81mm shells rigged to explode which were strategically placed in the frontline. Shortly after, reports of Soviet mortar teams using captured ammunition reduced drastically. As a Soviet weapon, it has been leased to its allies, including many factions within Oceanyka.

Krupp is Germany's manufacturing giant by excellence. Their specialty has historically been in steelworking, later branching onto the manufacturing of arms. Oceanyka's branch remains true to the original spirit of the Krupp company, abandoning the defence market for its own safety. Krupp steel mills operate throughout Oceanyka, its products a critical part of the Oceanykan industrial supply chain.

In the ongoing Congo Crisis, the deadliest conflict in the wider African Decolonisation, there is a war amongst the shadows. UN Peacekeepers report strange sightings and being fired upon by what seems like "German guerillas", what is now known as the remnants of Himmler's Schutzstaffel. As part of the UN Operations in the Congo, an international special forces command has been established to combat the NSDAP's surviving elements, restore order in the increasingly growing Black Zone, and to investigate reports of unusual activity in the region. The codename for this operation is WILD HUNT.

The cacao tree is a tropical evergreen tree that has been cultivated for centuries for its valuable beans, which serve as the primary ingredient in chocolate production. Cultivating cacao trees requires a warm and humid climate, flourishing in well-drained soil and a shaded environment, both often found in rainforest ecosystems. The cacao pods, containing seeds known as cocoa beans, are harvested when mature. Historically, cacao held significant cultural importance among Mesoamerican civilizations like the Mayans and Aztecs, who used cacao in religious rituals and as a form of currency. Over time, the beans were traded and introduced to European cultures, leading to the development of the chocolate industry. It is from here that the British Empire imported cacao trees, establishing large estates dedicated to the production of this cash crop across northern Oceanyka. Even today, the continent remains a major cultivator of this wondrous tree.
