The Jeweled Strait is a long passage of water separating the western Great Ocean from the interior seas, the Imperial Sea and Innermost Sea. All sea trade from the continent's western coast to the capital Sentra travels through the Jeweled Strait. It's heavily traveled by the Imperial Navy, merchant ships, and pirates. Numerous watchtowers and coastal defenses line both the northern and southern shares of the strait, especially near the mouth of the Imperial Sea.
