Faith and the Gods

An integral part of life in Kälran, the Gods have always been key cornerstones for the faithful that choose to put their trust into the Divine. Divided into pantheons based on their differing levels of influence and power, they possess dominion over the cosmos and all below. Creation, destruction, and the laws that the universe is said to obey come from them. Without the Gods, the general belief is that everything would swiftly fall to ruin. Some blasphemous individuals would say the opposite is true too however: without the Gods, none of the problems the peoples of this frozen land face daily would exist at all. Core to all whether it's their admiration or disdain for the powers that be, the impact of the Gods is paramount to all happenings, and for better or for worse, their gifts are true.
The Celestial Triumvirate
Commanding from the Heavens, the Celestial Triumvirate are recognised to be the most prominent and powerful. Bestowing the abilities of the sacred Light wielded by much of the righteous Glacial Knights in their fight for survival, they are marvelled, respected, and even feared by all. The strongest connection and place of worship to them for so many remains to be the Deoshenge in Borealis, where their followers may strengthen their bond to the almighty beings through use of ceremonial lithophones known as godstones.
