The island of Zirat is the biggest and most populated island of the Three Thieves, located in the Ossorian Sea.
History
The island has been populated by various settlers for millennia. The first stone fort was build 2500 years ago close to Sinaskari.
Geography
The island is split in two by the Sadeg mountain range that run from East to West. The mountains are high enough to create a dry land / desert landscape on the northern half, and a lush jungle landscape on the south.
Population
The island has about 15'000 inhabitants. The southern jungle side holds two pirate/outlaw towns that rival for domination, but end up too drunk to take care of much.
A small dwarven/gnome town is located in the mountains on the northern slope called Shiverad.
