Mezzi District
The Mezzi District is mostly a district of merchants, with a big focus on business and non-essential goods. The district is well taken care of, and cleanliness is clearly a priority. Structures are maintained, though signs of wear may still be apparent. It feels lived-in, but of a respectable quality in every regard. It features many banks, exchanges, tailors, artists, cobblers, and curiosity stores.
Scienza District
This district has a focus on education and the pursuit of knowledge. It houses the renowned Istituto della Conoscenza, one of the foremost universities in Aregrionno, if not the entire Northern Realms. While it has some classes on the practical implementation of magic, it is mostly focused on non-magical knowledge and brings forth some of the finest architects, merchants, artists, writers, engineers and scientists in the known world.
The district is incredible. Cleanliness, maintenance, and structural integrity are all of the highest standards. Loving attention seems to have been lavished on as many aspects as possible.
It features many archives and libraries, a popular public forum, and many housing facilities for academics as well as numerous scribes and clerks.
Saltworks
All the merchants and universities in the world are nothing without logistics, and that's where the Saltworks come in. This district is filled with warehouses, lumber yards, carpenter workshops, taverns and inns for travelers, and the famous Sena Shipyards. Enhanced by subtle magic, these shipyards can produce seaworthy vessels at a rate unrivaled in the Northern Realms. The district is passable: while not offensive to the senses of one that is well traveled, it could still be off-putting to those with lofty expectations. Structures may not be aesthetically pleasing but are generally functional.
Northern/Southern Slums
The university, shops and shipyards of Port Sena don't run on magic alone - it takes sweat and brawn, provided by those living in the slums north and south of the city. While the housing here is cramped and the people here definitely tend to be less well-off than those in the city, it is not a poor district: The nearby farmers are generally happy to share excess food with those living here, in return for extra help during harvest season.
Things are dirty and in a widespread state of disrepair, though some token effort may have been made at cleanliness. Streets are made of packed dirt or broken stone. They tend to be uneven, rutted, or muddy. Structures have likely received similar low levels of care, though there could be some disparity.
