The First Siege of Heaton followed the Battle of the Vale, with Razortooth, the last commander of the Shattered Spear, having retreated within the walls of Heaton.
Assured that the walls would hold, Razortooth ordered his troops to entrench themselves; though an escape through Heaton Bay was still possible, he was convinced that he'd be able to break the spirit of the besieging army by just waiting them out.
After 12 days of the occasional arrow striking true on both sides, Amadeus Sinask led a strike force through a secret door in the wall that he knew of from his time as a nobleman in Heaton. They managed to open the south gate for the main force of the Shield, and a final battle for Heaton and all of Erenen broke out.
It was on what would later become the Grand Market of Heaton that Sinask managed to best Razortooth in a one-on-one duel, and finally broke the back of the Shattered Spear occupation.
