Death War

Moloch's army took over Fjall very easily, in a matter of days the forces were already dug in by the edges of the Red Crag, passing the crags took almost half a year, because of the freezing climate and the difficult terrain, a demonic flaming army couldn't have expected the passage to be in easy one. once they got over the crags the army marched towards Gath where the giants live. leaving nothing but burning trees behind them.

After losing Fjall the barbarian tribes Quora quickly united in an attempt to send the evil forces back to the abyss. A barbarian army quickly rose, led by Khan from Bjarnardarl, all the tribes of the region sent warriors to join the fight. Khan sent word to the cities of Lodbaw and The Sword Coast asking for help, the Order of the Gauntlet sent a massive force to aid in the war that's about to start, hoping that together they will be enough to push the demonic forces back.

Once assembled, after almost a year of preperations, the army of barbarian tribes and Order of the Gauntlet forces started marching towards Gath, where huge battles were taking place, with Khan leading the barbarians, and Merlin leading the Gauntlet.

The demons climbed the mountains towards Gath for 2 months, giving the denizes of the city time to prepare their defenses. When the battle started the city stood strong for no more than a week, before the gates broke and the demons poured in like lava, burning fighters and citizens alike.

Not too long after, the barbarian horde led by Khan showed up, followed closely by Merlin and the Order of the Gauntlet's army, the two armies overwhelmed the demons, and even though losses were great, the battle was declared a victory.

Moloch managed to escape, throwing himself off the mountain and spreading his demonic wings, flying across Quora back towards Fjall. He didn't go empty handed though, taking Merlin, the leader of the Gauntlet with him to Fjall, leaving Kate Convington incharge of the army now.

Khan and Kate knew the war was far from over, with Merlin taken by Moloch they had a clear goal in mind, take the fight back to Fjall and get Merlin back.

The two assembled a small team that consisted of no more than 100 men from barbarian tribes and Gauntlet members, they marched towards Fjall.

The harsh cold weather of the Red Crag was too much to bear for many of the members of the Gauntlet, it exhausted the team quite rapidly, making them easy targets for ambushes from the demons. The passage in the Crags was difficult, and almost 20 people lost their lives there.

When they finally arrived at Fjall, a demonic horde was roaming in the city, they knew the only chance was to defeat Moloch himself, which will banish the rest of the demons back into the abyss.

Kate led the entire team, they were the diversion while Khan snuck alone, going for the head, Moloch.

The plan worked, while Kate fought the horde, Khan got to Moloch and pierced his chest with a sword, Moloch being an Arch demon did not die from the attack, but was banished to the abyss in a massive explosion, along with the rest of his demonic forces.

The giant exlposions threw everyone out of consciousness. When they woke up, Kate couldn't see Khan, and Merlin was nowhere to be found as well. But the war was over, and the demons were banished.

After the war ended, cultists started rising all over the place, people who support the arch demon Moloch and his campaign to destroy the Material Plane.

Shrines to the demonic being started appearing, and many fanatics engaged in corrupted rituals were trying to summon Moloch back from the abyss.

The city of Fjall became a ruin, with no one attempting to rebuild.

The Red Crag did not recover, leaving it as a charred no man's land.

The city of Gath stood strong and rebuilt.

Merlin and Khan disappeared without a trace.

Kate Convington became the leader of the Order of the Gauntlet.
