Rotpatch is a fabled creature that is made up of Samhain Pumpkins, harvested in the month of Harvest End. Rot patch appears before the "night of manifestation", when the ancestors take up residence inside of Jack O'Lanterns to connect and speak with their ancestors for a short time. It is Divine Mother Goddess' way of thinning the herd before Samhaine've.
