An emigree of unkown lineage arriving in Ambehgris in 600AN, Catherine refused to disclose her background but her accent and demeanor suggested to most Ambehgrisians that she came from Gautifel. While she easily adopted the flamboyant stylings of her new home on the Moth, she carried herself with the stereotypical tightlipped stoicism of her supposed homeland. She broke her silence only when prompted to deliver teachings and sermons from Church of the Seven Pointed Star of which she claimed a special calling due to a birthmark on her right shoulder reselmbing the seven point symbok of the minor deity Kol Katib. She was well known to give scathing disections on the foibles of Kennefel culture and the teachings of the Prelacy of Kol Korran.

Of course, her religious leanings were received by many to be political and Catherine quickly came under censure and persecution by the Prelacy who were quick to label her faith as heretical. However, like all things in Ambehgris, counter cultural movements tend to flourish in the subcultures of the city and Catherine found a devoted following amongst liberationist and those favoring Ambehgrisian Independance. Winning the favor of unkown wealthy donors, she was able to have a small temple built in Eastwold before her disappearance in 623AN.

Following her disappearance, her followers mustered the fees required to solicit her beatification and eventual cannonization through the Sacred Institute of Morrow, much to the scandal of the Prelacy and Kennefel Loyalists across the colony. Some have suggested that the donors behind both the building of her chapel and the efforts to secure sainthood were politically motivated in an attempt to undermine established power structures.
