After baking cookies and being spooked a bit by what Green Tree said, like having a mom and being very old, the party slept in the decrepit mimic house. The next day they took a carriage to Ellen's Luscious Garments where they spent a whole lot of money, then Brawnshield Armour Stocks, and then Speaks Volumes. Several custom items (clothing and armor) would be ready to be picked up on the 3rd of Suntide, 99 PRH.
They met Pertoir d'Juglar, the poet at the Slaughterhouse. After some talking, they agreed to find d'Juglar's missing lute; the lute should have arrived from Murharbor weeks ago but went missing somewhere between Pebble and Capital. It was likely it had been stolen by the Owlkocra bandits.
Finally at the Birdspire, Mordus got a letter from his ma, Kassandra, along with a Bathrobe of Supreme Leisure, Devinn found a letter from his mother as well, and Arkorow learned that there were a lot of letters from Duke Waves but they had been stolen by 'some cloaked human' on the 17th of Suntide's Rise, this same month, and the subject escaped towards the District of Commoners.
They then went towards Bruce & Jimmy's for the night. On the way, Mordus met three caithuna that he had run into during his first night in Capital who gave him a voucher for Highland Curiosities, and Arkorow got approached by Oradak Venebrae who was trying to improve his Infernal, while being accompanied by three well-armed half-orc guards.
At the bed-and-breakfast, Mordus got to drinking and made some gold setting up a friendly gambling game. Meanwhile, Devinn decided to stay up all night attempting to decode his letter.
The plan for the next day is to hit Highland Curiosities, then the Marble and Onyx temples, and then around to Cat's Eye and KB&S.
