The Circle of Magic in the city of Heldencoast works hard to keep the existence of magic a secret from the general public, while simultaneously supporting the citizens through magic. Lastly there was an uproar in public by someone using some sort of power that has not been classified by A.E.G.I.S. as a superhuman ability. The mages in the city quickly found out hat this was not an ability, but actual magic that has been used. Portals appeared all over the city, small enough to be easily ignored by civilians and even easier dealt with by the mages.
But as time passes, even more and bigger portals appear, without anyone knowing why and where they come from. And more and more creatures escaping through them. Until one day the biggest portal of them all opened up, and you, travelers through the multiverse, appeared in the basement of a certain someone.We're playing using the system "Urban Mages", a new system that will officially come out in November this year.
