An ancestry of technologically advanced, earth-based lifeforms from the Old World that seek regain their old glory in the New World. Normally quite adept at staying hidden, they were first discovered by Dourdruck Druckdoor and obtained proof in the events of The Truth is Out There! and additional Scouts were defeated in the Rockfolk Incursion.
Details learned about the Scouts:
- Seem to be animated by the same magic of earth elementals
- Intense bludgeoning damage (critical hit) to crack their tough shells, weakening their armor and removing any resistance they normally have most damage (physical and elemental at least)
- Additional intense bludgeoning damage can further weaken their armor
- Very adept at disguising themselves as rocks and boulders
- Imprecise Empathic Senses help find them
- Able to burrow with ease
