Reiko Amiri is a lesser cousin of a noble family in the city-state of Eshe, a minorly powerful city-state mostly known for wine and trading. She worked as a diplomat on behalf of her extended family for many years before becoming frustrated with the lack of care the nobility showed to their kingdom, their own power, and the world in general. Not a bleeding heart, she was more frustrated that they were unintelligent about it, playing the corrupt nobles.
Hearing about the portal, she fled her post and disappeared into the new world, content in the knowledge it would never come after her.
Once in the new world, she quickly, almost effortlessly formed a pact with the demon Marbas, then served as the emissary for First Landing in the wedding of the fey King Aseron. Since then she has taken a position as the archivist for the Consortium and has been steadily expanding her own personal abilities. She has a familiar, a small dog named Tarquanu, and has been tainted by Feywine to become partially fey, though this curse only became apparent months after the wedding. Expanding upon her pact with Marbas, she burned the fey influence from within her blood and embraced latent fire abilities.
