A small town called Greenpine

Session 02
2020-04-02

The group press on, not stopping for a rest. In the early morning, they meet an old timber-man called Jacob, just a little outside of a small town called Green Pine. Jak o' the Wispshares a cup of coffee with him before managing to wipe the man's memory of ever meeting the group. Realizing that they are about to walk into a small settlement the group makes a poor effort to look less conspicuous. Adrian Maulitz has to visit the mayor's house to claim the payment from a job he's performed. In an attempt to get some attention off of the girls, and doing some self-advertising, Jak tries singing a song. Adrian knocks him over as he passes by making Jak fall on top of a pile of cabbage. Sirona Boyd decides to try and buy some clothes and gear for her and Labrat's new life, but the salesman notices Sirona's inexperience and tries to rip her off. Jak comes to the rescue making sure she gets a fair price, but as he starts pushing his luck, the guard shows up and notice Irdien Talvaeth dark features. They escort her out of town. Jak, having run away as the guard shows up, escapes into the tavern and starts talking to the innkeeper about making a few coins and maybe getting a place to lay low. Adrian learns that a farmer named Philip is having trouble with his cows that won't give milk. He agrees to come and take a look for some silver and clothes for his traveling companions. Finally left alone at the outskirts of town Irdien overhears a couple of thugs speaking about a reward for capturing Sirona and Labrat. As Adrian returns to find Sirona and Labrat alone in the market, they are all started by Irdien rushing in shouting for them to run away. Even further away, Jak hears the commotion too. Adrian leaps into action running up to help Irdien get away from her pursuers. The group fights off the five bandits. Two of them escapes, and the other three are cut down to gory pieces
