Avanari Dragons, also called Long, are the Dragon of Avanar. They are distinguished by their more benevolent nature, as they are descended from Jielong and his followers, who rejected the ruin and hate of D'yi. The Avanari Dragons were nonetheless wary of Beldkind due to the War of Foundation, but peace between the two races was achieved by Di Shi, the founder of Xiao. Today, the Long and the Avanari largely live in peace and Long have had a dramatic impact on Xiao culture.
Long are characterized by the long, almost serpentine, bodies, short limbs, long whiskers, and fur.
