Aarakocra are a race of Avian humanoids. Civilizationally, Aarakocra tend to live on the mountains in isolated villages, called "nests". Aarakocra tend to have good relationships with dwarves, as the dwarves typically live within the mountains that the Aarakocra make their nest villages on. They are mostly stateless, but it is not uncommon for them to form loose confederacies between multiple villages for economic or defensive reasons.
Aarakocra come of age at about 20 years of age and typically lived to be about 120 years old.
