"Time has almost stopped in the Leor Forest. The Elves there closely guard their trees and their king, the immortal Glorandal. The Elves here have a tight bond with nature and especially with the magical trees."
Leorbar (Leor Bar) in Elvish script
Leorbar (Elvish for "Forest of Hope"), often called the Leor Woodland Realm is an Elvish kingdom located in the ancient and magical Leor Forest. The Forest Realm is incredibly ancient, predating the Second Age, and is ruled by its equally ancient founder Glorandal. The realm was founded following the Elvish Exile, an event in which Glorandal and most of the Elves of the Deshenite Kingdom left the kingdom to seek forgiveness from the Gods and resettle elsewhere. The ancient and magical nature of the Leor has led to the perception that the kingdom and its forest are blessed by Beld and Si'ita. Leor has never lost a war, and also never wages wars of offense, which adds to this holy reputation. The Leor Realm is one of the Three Great Elven Realms, the three nations founded by the three leaders of the Exile of the Elves from the Deshenite Kingdom.
Like the other major Elvish realms, Leorbar is a place of great beauty and magic.
