Godfrey was a human "hero" who is apparently from Sanaris.
Description
Godfrey stood a bit taller than the average human, perhaps a bit above 6 feet. His hair was a brilliant blonde color, and his chiseled face contained a set of focused green eyes. Before his encounter with the Peas, he wore a beautifully ornate set of silver half-plate armor, adorned with imagery of his god.
Godfrey was stubborn and thickheaded, focused entirely on whatever he viewed to be his quest. He had a great devotion to his god.
Skills and Abilities
Godfrey displayed a mastery of fighting techniques, as well as proficiency with wielding the power of his deity. In battle he fought with a large greatsword, imbuing it with a radiant essence that enhanced his attacks. He was also able to call upon radiant lightning to smite his foes.
He was nearly able to bring down the party single-handedly.
Bio
At some point before meeting the party, Godfrey came to Kinoclast from Sanaris in search of glory. Seeking to fix the woes of the people in the town, Godfrey entered Layton Mocksong. Layton was able to catch the paladin off-guard when he fell for one of Azmok's trap, imprisoning him inside a giant lamp.
When the party happened upon Godfrey, they couldn't hear what he was saying through the thick glass. They eventually freed Godfrey, who was thankful, but eager to return to his quest, against the wishes of the party. He ran to the top of the tower, finding his sword along the way, and began to attack Layton. After being held by Grognock, he decided that the party was also his foe, and began to attack everyone. He was eventually knocked unconscious, and tied up by Leadbelly.
