Moín Castle is the second castle on the site and is currently under construction - most of the the original early 2A castle was destroyed when rebels burnt it to the ground during the 3A 168 uprising led by Logan Campbell. The castle has remained in this incomplete state due to the turmoil of the family paying for construction so sometimes entire years go by with no major work happening on it at all. As such, visitors will note the construction materials and equipment laying all over the place, as well as the large winch attached to the top of the one completed tower.
The castle serves as home for Lucan III Murcadha.
