The annual Poppy Invitational poetry and music competition has suddenly gained national attention after rumors indicated the attendance of Bayushi Kachiko. The famed poet Kakita Shijin has been announced as the head judge. Poets like Doji Yogoso along with local favorites like Iuchi Michisuna will be competing alongside rising stars such as Soshi Moriko and Akodo Ume. A truly spectacular event to celebrate the end of the oppressive summer heat and a return to beauty.
That is, if it weren't for an ominous warning nailed to the front door of Civil Hall sometime in the early morning hours the day before the competition:
“The venomous councilors who pour their poison in the nation’s ear shall reap the consequences. Tenchu (heaven's punishment) awaits.”
