Simplicity. Balance. Moderation. Peace. These are the values of the Church of the Radumites, and no place can you find this way of life more embedded in culture than in Chanard. This human-inhabited island is one of the smaller nations in Western Eochora, but its population has been expanding heavily due to the recent influx of converts to the Church. Led by a the unmarried Grand Patriarch and Grand Matriarch, Chanard has the cleanest streets, best temple attendance, and smallest gap between rich and poor in the known world. However, it is not without its flaws. Outside cultures and beliefs are shunned and often result in persecutions. There is little room for innovation or improvement in the lives of everyday people. Regardless, the quality of life and communal spirit makes a conversion to the Church a tempting offer.
Structure
The Grand Patriarch and Grand Matriarch are the sole leaders in principle. They earn their positions through proof of virtue and faith. In practice, the High Priests and Priestesses choose these leaders and quickly impeach any Patriarchs and Matriarchs who do not follow their wishes.
