Nightwick is a small wooded town in the kingdom of Theder, north of Westport. The settlement is the northernmost in Westide, and is deep within Stormwood. The nearby ruins were once an outpost which predates the union of Theder. Nightwick is administered by The Council of Westport, where it elects a single council member to represent the town's interests.
Nightwick's economy is largely based on the export of wood from the surrounding forest, and there is a large deforested clearing north of the town.
In Autumn of 549UN (4147), the town was set upon by a hag named Wicked Ethel who had made a home in the ruins. She drove most of the town's population away, using invisibility and her Twig Blight minions to do so. In Goldleaf of that year she was killed by The Hag Wranglers and residents slowly began to return.
