Westide is a province in Theder which covers the west coast of Tide up to The Barrier Mountains. Lancetide is the largest city in Westide; here the House Lancetide oversee an elected council who perform administrative duties for the region.
Geography
The north of Westide is dominated by the thick forest of Stormwood, and is mostly unsettleable. Deforestation has begun around Nightwick, which provides lumber for a lot of the region, however the colder temperatures slow progress.
Central Westide is characterised by rolling hills and meadows, following the main road through to Middenfall.
The southernmost peninsula is divided by swamp and marshland, with rainfall in the area much heavier. The border with Lagatpulgoruz is also heavily forested, with The Stormcrag Mountains providing a natural barrier.
