The Lancetide Mayoral elections are held every five years in the City of Lancetide, on the first day of Spring. A vote is opened to the general population of the city, with registration starting the previous Autumn. Any person aged 16 or older who pays tax to the city is eligible to vote.
Any person eligible to vote can also put themselves forward as a candidate, however the elected mayor is nearly always a member of the nobility.
