History

The city was build by Aeron the Great in 599 AC after he and others were exiled by Frynia. The city was built as a refuge for elves and others who rebelled against authority.

Once a great city of over 30'000 inhabitants, famine and disease in 1009 AC killed most of the city's inhabitants during the Porthclaw Famine, and many others fled. The city has since experienced stagnation in population and wealth.

Its people trade with nearby towns and cities, but their bad reputation and habit to enslave the people they trade with have left most weary of anything to do with them. People are also scared to get sick and the disease.

Fortifications surround the city completely, but most of the city is now inhabited.
