Forced to choose between Duri Ukal and Adaran, the The Raven Shield faced a difficult choice.
With Adaran preparing to kill Duri and take his son, Narvi Ukal, Nova Amaril and Makaria intervened, with Silaqui and Nijel the Destroyer joining in soon after.
In the skirmish, Narvi managed to escape with one of Duri's bodyguards, and Adaran and three of his Shadowkeepers were killed. Duri was gravely wounded, but was saved by Nova. One Shadowkeeper managed to escape. Nijel accepted Nightthorn from Duri.
Quest: Bad for Business completed
Departing from Heastead the next day, the party set out through the Whisperwoods. Thanks to Nova's exceptional navigational skills, the group made quick ground. In the woods, they stumbled upon a slain halfling: Return To Sender. His Handy Haversack contained many letters, most notably Unknown.
However, their focus on the fallen messenger distracted the party long enough for disaster to strike: A green dragon came down upon the cart, incapacitated Yanzu Jormop, and took the special cargo away.
Now, the party is in hot pursuit, and has stumbled upon a Ruined Tower, in the middle of the Whisperwoods.
