An independent colony recently separated from the jurisdiction of the Silverbridge corporation's Ibos branch.
Rampart is the seat of the Seventh Legion, a league of alchemists, blacksmiths, miners, and soldiers that rebelled against Silverbridge and have since been attempting to establish Rampart as a city-state recognized by the Neterran Republic as sovereign.
Along with the other mining colonies of Ibos, Rampart is plagued by the threat of the Xanxost, a relatively newly encountered species that made itself known during the Schism of Rampart Those of the Seventh Legion spend much of their time protecting Rampart from Xanxost, as well as studying Xanxostan biology and tech to hopefully gain an advantage against both Xanxostans and Silverbridge.
