Black Elves arrived in Greycoast, in the mid 3rd Age, from dark place twisted by black magics. Some of the Archmages believe it to be a realm adjoining Ravenloft and the Abyss. They have dull black hair, and their eyes are solid black, neither of which reflect light. They tend to be slightly psychotic. Their burial ritual entails eating their respected dead and making jewelry or trinkets from the bones, the left overs being left for nature. They will often ferment the blood of a worthy for or an unusually cunning creature they hunted. It has come to be known simply as Black Wine, and several other races such as Orcs and Goblins seem to enjoy it. Black Elves sharpen their teeth after they have killed their first humanoid enemy in hand to hand combat, it’s a status symbol of being a warrior. Tattoos, piercings, and body mos are an integral part of their culture.Black Elf males are typically the size and weight of human females, with female being aver size of human teenagers.
