During this delve we've faced serious opposition. Two spectral beings, similar to the one from the Bone Keep, three ghouls, and a plated shadow. The last one came out of a most suspicious room. It was pitch black, with a number of skeletons arranged in a circle, surrounding a black spot. It sizzled when I poured holy water on it.
I felled all of them ghastly undead we've faced, sans one ghoul. The battle axe and arcane robe I inherited from Brother Amos are mighty indeed. Perhaps if I had them during the Battle of Seven Rivers, I would've been able to hold the pass... Alas, the Duchy of Tekton is no more. What good is it to reminiscence? My dues have been long paid.
Speaking of dues, the Grand Wizard's apprentice should be arriving any day now. I sincerely hope he is able to read and detect magic, otherwise he might find himself under a lot of pressure to learn that—quickly.
