New day, new enterprise. Same old process, sit in the tavern, tell stories, eyeball applicants. This time it worked better than before.

I've been joined by the righteous Amos, from the same order as late KaidenRozza, a magic user of brilliant intellect, Gregory, a young and strong lad who reminds me of Tom, Dalgarn, a dwarf related somehow related to Hats, but without all the charm or good character, and Harry, a halfling who I barely noticed.

On our journey to the Bone Keep, we've encountered a sinking riverboat. Our captain panicked, and was unwilling to press on. Afraid of glorified fish. So we continued on foot.

Rozza woke me up during night, some flying mass scared him. Perhaps it was a dragon, perhaps a moth. Whatever it was, I slept like a baby.

Once we reached the keep, we realised we don't have proper equipment to descend through the trapdoor. Unbelievable. Do I need to educate every adventurer I encounter? Nothing gets done if I don't plan for everything.

So we went through the tower, and descended one level lower than I ever had before. There was a chilly door, and four undead behind it. We deadened 'em once more. There was nothing of value there, except of a moaning rune.

Amos quickly put it to rest. No heresy on his watch!

Frozen and ill equipped, we retreated back to Redwood, and started planning our next expedition.

Redwood Castle notes:

  • It seems that the moaning, laughing, and chain rattling sounds were produced by a rune on a second underground level. Amos defaced the rune with Conciencia.
