Ealdric Zamilon was a priest of Selune who emigrated to Ambehgris in 512 AN. Despite the polytheistic teachings he promoted, his efforts to establish a temple and patronage were viewed as a competitive doctrine by Prelacy of Kol Korran who decried and defamed his teachings. However, his efforts were publically bolstered by purification rituals he provided on the banks of the River Moth where the temple and monestary bearing his name now stands in the Somoweld.
Though achieving a following and community believers by the end of his life, his legacy has been greatly diminished across Ambehgris as the practices of the Monks which carried on his teachings after his death were subject of a defamation campaign. Having adapting the sonorous deep toned mating calls of the moon rats endemic to the river region to their liturgical chants, the brotherhood were accused of Manziism, and the benefits of their purification magics were soon outweighed by public stigma.
The temple of Selune and the Zamilon Monastary stands, and attracts a small audience of faithful, but to this day the stigma lingers.
